Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 24 October 2026
These terms apply when you buy a class, a Single Session, open training or a membership at Be Up, and when you train in our studio. By booking you agree to them. They don’t affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish law.
1. About us
Be Up is a Pole Dance & Aerial Studio at Unit 8, Eastlink Business Park, Ballysimon Rd, Monaclinoe, Limerick, V94 C796, Ireland, run by Diana Serhieieva. Contact: beuplimerick@gmail.com · +353 83 081 3132.
2. Booking and payment
- All classes, open training sessions and memberships are bought and booked online through TeamUp. Prices are in euro.
- You must book every class before you come — you can only join a class you’re booked into. Booking closes 2 hours before the class starts.
- Your place is confirmed once your booking is complete in TeamUp.
- Classes, sessions and memberships are personal and can’t be transferred to someone else.
3. First class offer
If you have never trained with us before, you can buy one Single Session for €10 instead of €22 with the coupon code FIRST on TeamUp. The offer is once per person, can be used for any regular class and can’t be combined with other offers.
4. Single Sessions and open training
- A Single Session (€22) is valid for 14 days from purchase for any regular class. It doesn’t cover open training.
- Open training (€15) is for experienced students only and runs only at the Open Training times in the timetable. It starts with a group warm-up led by a coach; after that you practise on your own, without coaching. A coach may ask you to join a regular class instead if they think open training isn’t safe for your level yet.
5. Memberships
- A membership gives you a set number of classes (4, 8 or 12) every 4 weeks and renews automatically every 4 weeks.
- Classes have to be used within the 4-week period they belong to. If we cancel a class you booked, that credit carries over to your next period.
- The minimum term is 3 months. During that time a membership can’t be cancelled or paused, except as described in sections 6 and 13.
- After that you can cancel at any time by emailing us with 30 days’ notice. Your membership ends 30 days after your email (or at the end of the minimum term, if that’s later). Any 4-weekly payment due before that date is still taken, and you can use your classes until the end. Apart from that, payments already made are not refunded.
6. Your 14-day right to cancel
When you buy a membership, a Single Session (including the first class offer) or an open training session online, you have the legal right to cancel within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason, and get a full refund.
- If you book and attend classes within those 14 days, you are asking us to start straight away. If you then cancel, we only keep the price of the classes you have already had and refund the rest.
- Once a Single Session or open training session has been used, it can’t be cancelled.
- To cancel, send us a clear message within the 14 days — for example an email tobeuplimerick@gmail.com saying: “I cancel my purchase of [membership or session], bought on [date]. Name: [your name], email: [your TeamUp email].”
- We refund you within 14 days, using the same payment method.
7. Cancelling a class
- Cancel in TeamUp at least 24 hours before the class and the credit goes back to your account, so you can use it for another class.
- If you cancel later than 24 hours before, or don’t come, the class is lost.
- If we have to cancel or move a class, we’ll let you know as early as we can and your credit goes back to your account (for members, it carries over to the next period). If you can’t use it, we’ll refund it.
8. Studio rules
- Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your class.
- No chewing gum or food during training.
- Take off all jewellery before class, especially rings and bracelets.
- Don’t use body lotion or oil on the day of a pole or aerial class — it makes the apparatus slippery.
- Wear the right clothes for your class (see “What should I wear?” in our FAQ).
- Only use the pole and aerial apparatus during your class or open training, and always follow your coach’s instructions.
9. Health and safety
- Our classes are for people aged 16 and over. For students under 18, a parent or guardian has to agree to these terms on their behalf and give written consent before the first class, including for any photos.
- Please tell your coach before class about any injury, medical condition or pregnancy. If you’re not sure whether a class is right for you, check with your doctor first.
- Pole, aerial, yoga and flexibility training are physical activities with a real risk of injury, such as strains, bruises or falls. By booking a class you confirm that you are fit to take part and that you understand and accept these risks.
- Train within your limits, tell your coach if something hurts, and stop if you feel unwell.
- A coach may ask you to sit out or change an exercise if they think it isn’t safe for you.
10. Liability
We do our best to keep the studio and equipment safe and our classes well taught. We aren’t responsible for injuries caused by not following the coach’s instructions or by health conditions you didn’t tell us about, or for lost or damaged personal belongings. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that can’t be limited under Irish law.
11. Photos and videos
We sometimes take photos or videos in class for our website and social media. We only post pictures in which you can be recognised if you have agreed, and you can ask us to remove them at any time. See our Privacy Policy.
12. Behaviour
We want the studio to feel safe and friendly for everyone. We may refuse entry to, or cancel the membership of, anyone who puts others at risk or behaves in an abusive way.
13. Changes and law
- We may change the timetable, our prices or these terms when there is a good reason — for example new classes, rising costs or a change in the law. We’ll show the change on this page with a new date at the top.
- Changes don’t apply to anything you have already paid for.
- If we raise the price of your membership, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before. You can then cancel without penalty before the new price starts, even during the minimum term.
- These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
