Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files a website saves on your device. Under the Irish ePrivacy Regulations (S.I. No. 336 of 2011), a website may only use cookies that aren’t strictly necessary if you agree first. Here is exactly what happens on this site.
Cookies on this website
Be Up doesn’t set any cookies — not even our hosting provider Cloudflare does on this site. We don’t use analytics, advertising or social media trackers, so there is no cookie banner to click through.
The Google map
The map in our Contact section comes from Google Maps. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. That’s why the map is only loaded when you click “Show map” — clicking it is your consent. Google then handles those cookies under its owncookie policy.
So you don’t have to click every time, your browser remembers that choice (a small note called beup-map-consent in your browser’s local storage, which isn’t sent to anyone). It stays until you clear your browser data or withdraw it here:
Done — the map won’t load until you click “Show map” again.
Other websites we link to
Buttons such as “Buy” and “Book a class” take you to our booking system TeamUp, and some links open Google Maps or WhatsApp. Those sites use their own cookies, explained in their own cookie policies.
Managing cookies
You can also block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
